Public outfit discovery

Explore and publish in the Community gallery

The Community gallery is a dedicated page for finished public outfits. It is separate from the catalogue, so browsing other players' work never replaces the transmog already in your builder. Open a look to inspect it, copy its item list, or create your own editable remix.

Open the gallery without leaving your work behind

Use the large Community gallery action in the main page header or visit mogforge.com/gallery directly. The catalogue and gallery are separate views with different purposes: the catalogue searches individual appearances, while the gallery searches complete outfits submitted by visitors.

Opening the gallery does not clear the local builder. If you return to the catalogue, your current character, equipped appearances, saved slot options, and supported search state remain available in that browser. An outfit changes only after you deliberately choose to open or remix it.

Choose how outfits are ranked

The ranking buttons answer different discovery questions. New shows recent submissions without requiring early votes. Top day, Top week, and Top month surface outfits that performed well in those periods. All-time favors established posts with a longer voting history. Switching a ranking changes the order, not the outfit data.

Views and votes are different signals. A view records that someone opened an outfit; a vote is an intentional account action. A new submission may therefore have several views and no votes, while an older outfit may remain visible in a longer ranking period.

Combine the gallery filters

ControlWhat it does
ClassLimits results to the class saved with each public outfit.
Armor typeFinds traditional Cloth, Leather, Mail, or Plate looks.
12.2.5Toggles public outfits created with the optional cross-armor preview.
Item of the dayShows outfits associated with a daily featured appearance, including older daily creations.
Contains itemSearches appearances and returns outfits containing the selected visual look.

The 12.2.5 and Item of the day controls are independent tags, not dropdowns. They can be combined with class, armor, contained item, and ranking. In Contains item, type at least part of an item name and choose the intended appearance from the results; the field searches the selected visual appearance rather than merely matching words in an outfit title.

Inspect a post before remixing it

Click the image to view the full exported artwork, or choose Open and remix to open the interactive outfit. The outfit page shows its character, equipped slots, source links where available, and a clean text item list. The list has a copy action so it can be pasted into a forum, message, or build discussion without copying page controls or image text.

Remixing creates an editable working copy. It does not change the gallery author's post, its image, its votes, or its public item list. If your builder already contains another outfit, review the action before continuing so you know which look you intend to edit.

Publish a finished outfit

  1. Build and verify the outfit in the Transmog panel.
  2. Switch out of View mode if necessary, then choose Post to gallery on the left side of the model stage.
  3. Enter a short, descriptive outfit name. Do not include personal information or keyword spam.
  4. Review the character, armor rules, equipped items, and generated image.
  5. Publish the post, then open the gallery to verify its title, tags, item list, and remix link.

An account is not required. For a guest post, the publishing browser stores a random management token that allows that browser to delete the outfit later. Clearing site storage or moving to another device can remove access to that token. If you sign in from the original browser, the post can be claimed by the account and managed across devices.

Public is different from unlisted. A gallery post is designed to be found through rankings and filters. A permanent share link is accessible to anyone who receives the URL but is not automatically submitted to the gallery.

Understand feature badges

A 12.2.5 beta badge means the outfit was built with cross-armor planning enabled. It is a description of the saved plan, not a guarantee that every combination works in the current game client. An Item of the day badge identifies an outfit tied to a daily featured appearance. A prismatic treatment highlights a current-day creation, while the regular treatment keeps older daily-item outfits discoverable. Both visual styles use the same Item of the day filter.

Because the featured item changes, a badge may remain on an older post even when a different item is featured today. This is intentional: the gallery preserves the outfit's daily-item history rather than making yesterday's creations disappear.

Voting, reports, and ownership

Voting requires an account so that one person can maintain a consistent vote state. Viewing, filtering, opening, remixing, and guest publishing do not require sign-in. Use Report for posts that violate the Community Guidelines or misuse the service, not for an outfit whose colors you simply dislike.

The delete action appears only when the browser or signed-in account has management rights, or when an administrator is reviewing the gallery. Removing a public post does not delete another visitor's remix or a separate unlisted link they already created.

Check the current game before farming a look. Gallery images and browser models are planning previews. Sources, eligibility, effects, and geometry should still be verified in the live Dressing Room.
